Today I finished this book. I really enjoyed it but I didn't loved it as much as the movie. I saw the movie and I really loved it. Gerry played by Butler is perfect (He really is 'Gerry'...that's cool!) I want a Gerry too :( Daniel was lovely and Holly doesn't have 432.023.432 of brothers and sisters! At the beginning of the book it was hard to know each one of them. One of the thing I loved the most about the book is that, despite the fact that it's a love story (the kind of book I hate the most) it's not too much sweet. It explain of difficult is to grow for a girl who is near thirty like me so I could recognize in different situations she lived also if she did lots and lots of things for her young age. Another thing I loved is the fact that Gerry was so amazing to be on the book since the end also if he wasn't there and in both book and movie I felt sad for his death but tecnically we didn't know him...but he was so awesome that we felt Holly's pain. Something that I didn't like is how it ended between Holly and Daniel! I hope that they will end togheter at least on the book and if the message have to be that they are not meant to be, I prefer their story on the movie, that kiss and the fact that was like kiss a brother/sister plus the movie has JD Morgan that in the book doen't exist!
